Getting a better identification

• Fill the frame with the rock and tap it once it's in focus.
• Daylight works best. Avoid harsh shadows and flash glare.
• Wet rocks show their color and banding; a quick rinse often helps.
• Try a second angle if the first result looks off.

How accurate is it?

Rarestone gives its best guess with a confidence score. Treat results as a starting point, and have anything you think is valuable checked by a geologist or a local rock and mineral club.

Deleting your account

Open Settings in the app and tap Delete account. This removes your account, your saved finds and any photos you shared. See the Privacy Policy for details.
